A celebration of music.

This week, tuesday to be exact, my Last.fm account turned 1. Time for a relay of this musical year.

Sadly I didn't make a screenshot of the amount of plays I had on this day, so this will forever be a mystery, but the rest of the most important things are recorded in beautiful screenshots to help me recap this beautiful year.

Why a beautiful year? You might be wondering. Well in 2013 30 Seconds to Mars' new album LOVE, LUST, FAITH + DREAMS, came out. That alone makes a year incredibly beautiful. But in this year I also found various other artists and albums that are now a fixture in almost every playlist I make.

I am so happy with this page. It's nice and variated. A lot of artists from the same kind of music range, filled up with some artists you usually wouldn't expect in that list. Perfect, if you ask me.

But the reason I visit my Last.fm account countless times a day is the beautiful charts it puts together of everything I play. I just like to sit down and look at them, thinking if I'm happy with them the way they are, or if I maybe need to change something by doing a listening spree of a specific artist or song. Let's take a look at the charts of 'Last 12 months'

Be best chart in the world. This is a perfect example of 30 Seconds to Mars' dominance in my music listening and I would like to keep it this way. It also shows off my top 4, which will most probably stay untouched for another while.
The look of this chart did have some sudden changes this year. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Lorde and Kensington ar 3 great examples of my addiction periods. All 3 of them shot their way up in here in less then a week. I love to see them keep their high spot in this list, and they even keep growing. Don't ask me why, but that makes me happy.

My 'Last 12 months' songs chart shows a little less dominance. but that's fine. Because thinking of songs, there definitely is no dominant song that should be on top. The high amount of 30 Seconds to Mars songs comes from the release of LOVE, LUST FAITH + DREAMS and will most probably be gone at the end of this year, but I like having them there now. I have to say, pretty happy with this one as well.

Sadly, I also forgot to printscreen the album chart. But the number 1 on that one isn't much of a surprise eather. I'll just let you guess.

Have a nice life,
Xoxo
Winnie.

BTW. Exciting stuff coming!!! I'm ~finally~ working on my online portfolio! I finally found a website I can work with and I'm putting it together at the moment. I'm going to wait 'till it's completely done before I put it online, but as soon as it is, I'll let you know! I'm really happy with how it's turning out to be at the moment, I'm so excited for this!
